Hollywood and Grammy Bound

Sydney Arterbridge, a student from Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, a Berklee City Music member, has advanced to the Hollywood round of American Idol.  The 15-year-old sophomore from Columbus, Ohio sang Lovin’ You by Minnie Riperton and received a yes from all three judges.  Check out her performance and interview.

Yesseh Furaha-Ali (Tenor Sax) and Immanuel Wilkins (Alto Sax) were selected to participate in the 2014 Grammy Camp.  They are both from our Network site, The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts.

Only 32 high school students across the country were chosen, and they’ll head to Los Angeles, CA, for a week long musical adventure.
